Highlights

What you'll see

Not our regular bus tour: a cruise-only excursion that starts when your ship is in, from your terminal, and ends before all-aboard

Unlike standard tours with fixed schedules, this excursion is tailored to your ship's actual arrival and departure times. Whether your cruise arrives early or late, your guide will be waiting at the port, and the tour begins accordingly. The day is paced for comfort, not speed: no shopping stops, no unnecessary detours — Jeju's UNESCO landmarks, local markets and everyday island culture, with time to enjoy them.

The guide, Nicole, was super nice and always helpful. We booked the two day tour and we were always lucky that she was always our guide for both of the tours. We were able to visit and explore all the main attractions here in this beautiful island!

Incredible excursion! The places are magnificent and everything is very well organized! The day before, a WhatsApp group was created to communicate with the guide. Elin-Jeju mama was amazing throughout the entire excursion, from her explanations to her atmosphere and energy!!! I highly recommend this tour!

Definitely worth the time and the money, genuinely recommend. The tour I went on (Jeju UNESCO East Course Tour) was well organised, it was a perfect mix of free and educational time, which was also fun. There weren’t too many people, you could ask your tour guide questions anytime. My tour guide was Elin, she’s absolutely wonderful! My favourite part was seeing haenyeo perform, but it’s never guaranteed because of the weather. Either way 10/10! Genuinely recommend. Big thanks to the whole team :)

I went on the tour with Clara, the tour guide, and Mr. Kim, the driver. The tour was designed well to start with the 1100 Altitude Wetlands (a little walk but mostly chance to have a quick breakfast at the convenience store with the observation deck) and highlighted the southern Jeju spots and a little bit of eastern by the way of O’sulloc Museum. I specifically took this tour to be able to visit O’sulloc Museum, which is not easy to do as a solo traveler who doesn’t want to drive. It was nice to be able to see a lot of Seogwipo area as someone staying in Jeju city. The tour was paced well for me, I felt we had enough time at each stop. There were no weird sales stops along the way. Clara was very informative as a native Jeju dweller to highlight the reasons why we were making each stop. It is a bit of a hike involved in many stops, as Jeju is just a very hilly place with lots of steps and walking to see a good amount of these stops. Clara also took great photos, another plus for going on a group tour as a solo traveler. The tour is a bit longer than eight hours by the time you get to Jeju city area, so flights or other next itinerary should be planned accordingly.

Our family really enjoyed this experience and felt it was a great way to explore Jeju island. Each location was so carefully chosen and our guide, Clara, was very knowledgeable. The lunch was also so perfect and gave us a taste of the specialties of the island.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I join if I am not arriving by cruise ship?
No. This excursion is only for passengers of a cruise ship calling at Jeju that day. It starts and ends at the cruise terminal and runs on the ship's schedule, so a hotel near the port does not qualify — we ask for your ship name, arrival time and all-aboard time when you book. If you are staying on the island, please book the East Course, SouthWest & Hallasan or the East Half-Day from Jungmun & Seogwipo instead.
How is this different from the East Course bus tour?
The East Course is a scheduled 8.5-hour bus tour that departs from Jeju City hotels at 09:00. This excursion is only for cruise passengers: about 6 hours, it starts from your cruise terminal when your ship is in, the route is chosen by your port (Jeju Port or Gangjeong Port), and the day is planned backwards from your all-aboard time with a 100% on-time return guarantee.
What if my ship arrives late or leaves early?
The tour is timed to your ship's actual schedule. Your guide waits at the port whether the ship arrives early or late, and the route is planned so you are back before all-aboard time — a 100% on-time return is guaranteed.
Which itinerary will I get?
It depends on your cruise port. Ships at Jeju Port (Jeju International Ferry Terminal) follow the east route: Seongsan Ilchulbong, Seongeup Folk Village, the lava cave and Dongmun Market. Ships at Gangjeong Port (Seogwipo) follow the south route: Yakcheonsa Temple, Jusangjeolli Cliff, O'sulloc, Cheonjeyeon Waterfall and Seogwipo Olle Market.
Where do I meet the guide?
At the exit of your cruise terminal. When you book, you must give your ship name, arrival time, all-aboard time and port — we use them to be at the terminal when you come out and to plan the route back in time.
Is lunch included?
No. Admission fees, water and local snacks are included; meals other than tastings are at your own expense. Both routes end with free time at a market where you can eat.
Is the tour suitable for wheelchair users?
Unfortunately not. The day involves walking, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
How do I book?
Online booking for this tour is being prepared. For now, message us on WhatsApp with your ship name, date, arrival and all-aboard times and your port, and we will confirm by reply. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
